ModSpace has the ability to respond quickly to aid in emergency relief and rebuilding.
Responding rapidly to natural disasters is critical. ModSpace is prepared to help on a moment’s notice with a large fleet of readily-available mobile modular buildings.
We have extensive experience working with local, state, and federal agencies and municipalities including FEMA, American Red Cross, disaster response organizations, public utilities, school districts, hospitals and many more.
In addition to standard mobile offices and classrooms, ModSpace also has an inventory of barracks and "bunk houses" that can be utilized for temporary housing when disaster strikes. With the expanded support capabilities of our branch network, we can quickly fulfill your emergency space needs.
In the days following hurricanes Ike, Katrina and Rita, ModSpace was there to support relief efforts with temporary modular buildings for much-needed emergency medical facilities and housing* for displaced victims and emergency crews. Today, we continue to support rebuilding with permanent modular construction that can get communities up and running as much as 50% faster than traditional construction methods.
More recently, in January 2010, ModSpace committed $1 million in modular buildings to Haiti to help emergency crews and displaced victims following the devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake. We’re there today and we’ll be there tomorrow.
