Temporary Modular Complex
Vancouver City Savings Credit Union needed a temporary facility to continue day-to-day operations while their existing branch office was undergoing significant renovations.
ModSpace helped TRB Architecture address the stringent requirements of a constrained site, restrictive development regulations and precise client needs with a temporary modular structure.
A crane set the modules on a concrete foundation around a prefabricated vault. All materials were chosen to make relocation easier. Exterior finishes included Hardie Panel siding, Fry Reglet reveals, contrasting corrugated metal and a built-up mansard fascia with an emphasis on the main entrance canopy. Interior finishes include vinyl-covered gypsum board, T-bar ceilings, resilient flooring and carpet tile.
Vancouver City Savings chose this temporary modular building for potential reuse during the renovations of other branches in the future.
