Cheyenne Regional Airport Turns to ModSpace to Land American Airlines
In early 2010, Cheyenne Regional Airport reached an agreement with American Airlines to service two non-stop jet service flights to their hub in Dallas/Ft. Worth. With flights starting July 15th, Cheyenne Regional Airport quickly needed a larger passenger terminal area as well as additional office space for TSA personnel.
ModSpace and Cheyenne Regional Airport developed a floor plan and brought in a modular complex to serve as the terminal extension. Three 14’x70’ sections were reused from a previous project keeping costs down and quality high. The ModSpace Construction Services Team developed a full-functioning airport concourse that meets current building codes, includes two public restrooms, ADA accessible entries and exits, a TSA office, snack counter and passenger waiting area.
With the help of ModSpace and the use of modular buildings, Cheyenne Regional Airport was able to complete the project on time and on budget. American Airlines’ list of destinations now includes two non-stop flights a day through the modular concourse at the Cheyenne Regional Airport.
