DaVita, the largest independent dialysis provider in the United States, realized a growing opportunity to serve new patients in the LaGrange, KY area. In order to beat the competition to market DaVita needed a completed dialysis treatment facility up and running as soon as possible.

MedBuild improved on the initial conventional construction design to provide a modular solution that would allow DaVita to start seeing patients sooner. The dialysis center includes a full brick exterior, architectural shingled gable roof and a drive through portico entrance providing an attractive and efficient facility that is indistinguishable from conventional construction.
MedBuild helped DaVita with additional time savings by completing the central acid, bi-carb and RO piping in the water treatment and dialysis areas at the factory, resulting in minimal final connections on-site.
The 5,576 square foot facility features 12 dialysis stations, a nurse’s station, medication and patient prep areas, a clean workroom, reuse and chart rooms and a lab. Other key areas include RO acid, bicarb and biomed rooms, a business office, soiled workroom, waiting room, staff offices, exam rooms, a conference room and a staff lounge, storage and restrooms. The center features a patient friendly design that facilitates effective and efficient workflow for the staff.
