Permanent Modular School
Thanks to a surge in attendance the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus was expanding. The university needed space quickly to accommodate their finance and administration departments. School officials also wanted facilities that made good use of the latest green building technologies.
ModSpace provided three highly efficient custom modular buildings that blended with the overall campus aesthetic. Special effort was put into manufacturing as much of the new buildings off site as possible in order to maximize production efficiencies and environmental controls. The finished buildings were outfitted with an energy-efficient lighting system that consumes up to 50 percent less electricity.
