Temporary Modular Complex
Turner Construction needed temporary office space for its client to use during the construction of the new Yankee Stadium. In addition to a tight timeline, Turner needed to fit 15,792 square feet of office space onto an existing concrete pad measuring just 15,456 square feet.
ModSpace worked with Turner Construction to develop a solution that delivered the necessary office space within the allotted area. A total of 23 modules were required to achieve the desired square footage. With 14 modules at ground level, a scaffolding bridge was erected to support an additional nine-module complex. A crane was used to position the floors upon the bridge, leaving just enough room to set up a seven-unit complex, three double-wides and a single-wide module at ground level.
By utilizing a multi-level temporary modular complex, ModSpace was able to help Turner Construction meet their target deadline for breaking ground on construction of the new state-of-the-art Yankee Stadium.
