Control Center for Construction of Eagles Stadium

Turner Construction Company

Alamo Modular UnitTurner Construction Company is leading the construction of the Philadelphia Eagles' new 1,723,000 square-foot football stadium, opening Fall 2003. The national firm needed to quickly find nearby office space to serve as a control center for managing nearly 4,000 construction workers during the course of the project. By turning to ModSpace, a provider of leading mobile and modular space solutions, Turner had a custom designed office complex within 40 days

Based on Turner's design and floor plans, ModSpace swiftly fabricated a structure that would best facilitate the day-to-day planning and scheduling activities of construction management. Project supervisors, directors and contract managers have offices around the perimeter of the buildings while administrative staff and engineers have versatile offices in the center.

The modular office complex also features:

Conference and planning rooms Reception and waiting area
• Storage areas Copy room
• Kitchen Accounting office

The complex now serves as Turner's temporary headquarters and provides enough space for high-level executives and designers as well as on-site project and field managers.

ModSpace builds structures in a controlled manufacturing environment. Off-site modular fabrication and assembly can reduce the cost of construction and accelerate the project schedule via simultaneous site preparation. In addition, modular construction is versatile and can be easily expanded, reduced or relocated to accommodate changing needs.
