at the site of their new housing developments that would
provide their sales representatives with an inviting surrounding
for prospective clients but could be removed quickly when
the time came – when the development was sold out.
KB homes is one of the largest homebuilders in America with communities throughout Arizona, California, colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina and Texas. The 45 year old company takes pride in a reputation for innovation in the home building industry.
On the surface, it might seem odd that a conventional homebuilder would choose modular construction for their sales centers, but KB Home understood that the accelerated modular process would enable them to open sales centers more quickly and would provide consistency in quality and materials across locations. Additionally, partnering with a modular builder would provide financially attractive lease terms for the centers, and (one of the most attractive benefits), the modular construction process would allow centers to be relocated to multiple communities during a lease term. The ModSpace-built modular sales centers will likely be used in three communities during a typical five-year lease term, making them tremendously cost effective.
